We sell digital products — spreadsheet templates, written guides and similar files — delivered as downloads. There are no physical goods, and nothing is shipped. Each product page describes what is included; that description forms part of these terms.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we accept your payment and make the download available to you. We may decline an order for any lawful reason, in which case we refund you in full.
All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are the total payable — there are no hidden charges. If Malaysian service tax becomes chargeable on these products, we will say so at checkout before you pay. Prices may change at any time, but never for an order already placed.
Promotional prices, including any founding-customer price, apply only while stated and only to the number of purchases stated.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or banking credentials. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's own terms.
Bench Studio is a trading name of Mai Studio. Your bank, card or online banking statement will therefore show MAI STUDIO — not Bench Studio. This is the same business. If you do not recognise a charge, please email us before contacting your bank; we answer within one working day and can identify any order immediately.
Your download is made available immediately after payment, on the confirmation page and by email to the address you gave at checkout. Download links may be time-limited or capped in number for security. If a link expires before you have your file, email us and we will issue a new one at no charge.
It is your responsibility to give a correct email address and to keep your own copy of the file once downloaded.
What you buy is a licence to use the product, not ownership of it. The Licence Agreement (the Licence Agreement) sets out what you may and may not do, and it forms part of these terms. In short: use it in your own business as much as you like; do not resell, share or republish it.
Our products are planning and productivity tools. They help you organise, forecast and see information you already have.
They do not increase your income, guarantee any financial result, or constitute financial, accounting, tax, legal or professional advice. Any figures, examples or sample data included are illustrative only. Outputs depend entirely on the information you enter, and you remain responsible for checking your own figures and for any decision you take. Where a product processes or reformats a document you supply, you are responsible for verifying the result against your original.
You agree not to use our products or this website unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, and not to use any automated means to scrape, copy or redistribute our content.
We provide our products with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
We may suspend or terminate your licence, without refund, if you breach these terms or the Licence Agreement — in particular by reselling or redistributing a product.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase, and changes do not apply retrospectively to orders already placed.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
