1. What this is

When you buy a Bench Studio product you receive a licence to use it. You do not buy the copyright, and ownership stays with Mai Studio.

2. Single-user licence — what you may do

• Use the product in any business you own or operate, for as many of your own businesses as you like.
• Make copies for your own use and your own backups.
• Change it. Unlock the sheets, rename things, add or delete rows, rebuild it around how you work. It is yours to adapt.
• Use the outputs — your forecasts, your figures, your files — however you wish, including commercially and with your own clients, accountant or bank.

3. What you may not do

• Resell, sublicense, rent, lend or give away the product, in whole or in part, modified or unmodified.
• Redistribute or republish it — including uploading it to a file-sharing service, template library, marketplace, course, or a public or shared drive.
• Share it with people outside your business, or across a company that has not bought a team licence.
• Use it as the basis of a competing product, or to create derivative products for sale.
• Remove or obscure our name, copyright notice or order reference from the file.
• Claim the product as your own work.

4. Team licence

A team licence covers up to five named individuals within one company. Everyone using it must be an employee or contractor of that company, and everything in clause 3 still applies. Need more than five seats? Email us and we will sort out a fair price.

5. Purchase records

We keep a record of every purchase — the name, email address and order reference given at checkout — retained as described in our Privacy Notice. We may rely on those records to confirm that someone is a genuine buyer, for example to re-issue a file you have lost, and in connection with any suspected breach of this Licence.

6. No warranty on outputs

The products are tools. They are provided "as is". We do not warrant that a product is free of error, that its results are accurate or complete, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for checking anything a product produces, and for every decision you make on the strength of it. Nothing in any product is financial, accounting, tax, legal or professional advice.

7. Support and updates

Where a product includes a support or update period, that period runs from your purchase date and is stated on the product page. Support means help using the product — it is not a bookkeeping, consulting or advisory service.

8. If you breach this licence

Your licence ends immediately, without refund, and you must delete every copy you hold. We reserve all remedies available to us, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

9. Term

This licence lasts as long as you comply with it. Clauses 3, 6 and 8 survive its end.

10. Governing law

Malaysian law governs this licence, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
